Val di Fassa

The surroundings of the Val di Fassa Valley are really amazing. The most famous peaks of the Dolomites tower up high in the background like for example the Rosengarten Massif, which rises nearly vertically right above Pozza and Vigo di Fassa.

Some very popular ski holiday destinations in the Val di Fassa Valley are Campitello and Canazei, situated at the feet of Mt. Sass Pordoi. Both of them offer some challenging ski runs and are connected to the famous "Sella Ronda" ski tour. Penia,  located conveniently at feet of the Ciampac-ski resort, is also very rewarding. It has retained its typical mountain village character.

We also need to mention the ski resorts of Moèna and Alpe Luisa. They are situated at the end of the valley and they are the gateway to another important ski area of Trentino: the Val di Fiemme Valley.
