Sweep over excellently groomed slopes, an eye on countless mountains over 3,000 m and a snow-covered valley, stop off in rustic mountain huts, fortify oneself with typical delicacies – and all that without high prices, crush and long waiting times. Klausberg, a small but modern skiing area in the holiday region Tauferer Ahrntal, makes it possible.

From the little village Steinhaus the cable car K2 brings you quickly at 2,500 m above sea level. There you will find manageable, for the most part moderately difficult ski runs. In general also families with children and advanced skiers cope with them. Next to the valley station there is also a separate area for kids.

However, if you are already a good skier you should go to the upper part of the skiing area Klausberg and try out the challenging Hühnerspiel slope and the steep mogul field Hexenschuss.

Last but not least the ski area Klausberg is quite popular among locals and guests, because on the one hand it has a very good price-performance ratio. On the other hand also the few but good ski lodges with hearty dishes and inviting ambience contribute to its popularity.
