Leukerbad is located at the top of a narrow side the Rhône Valley. The village differs from other ski resorts, because there are not just many slopes, but also one of the largest alpine spa resorts throughout the world.

More than twenty indoor swimming pools and open-air baths offer relaxing bathing pleasure with view of an imposing mountainous backdrop.

Due to its sheltered position, surrounded by high rock faces, this Welsh village is very sunny. In addition to the favourable climate are mentionable also the hot thermal springs. They are known since the Roman period and they produce daily almost four million litres of salutary water.

The large and luxurious bathing resorts are a real pleasure after a cold day on the ski runs. The experience here is healthy at any rate and the offer of spa treatments is versatile and pampering. A bath with scented oil or a full body massage relaxes tense muscles.

The guests of the resort especially appreciate the combination of ski holidays with fitness and spa – not only as alternatives in case of bad weather, but also to have a leave day extra. Therefore, the bathing resort tries to fulfil the different guests’ needs and there is the ideal place for a family vacation as well as for activity and spa holiday.
