Cortina d'Ampezzo! A name that is well-known far beyond the borders of Italy and which stands for winter sports and elegance, sublime scenery, steep, adventurous ski runs and a glamorous way of life.

Cortina d'Ampezzo already had this repution before the Olympic Winter Games were held there in 1956. Old postcards prove it: the ski region between Mt. Monte Cristallo, Mt. Soprapis and Tofane, had even been a tourist-magnet long before.

Cortina d'Ampezzo is not only a place for skiing but also for seeing people and being seen. It was and is still very important to be present, especially in the pedestrian zone of the Corso Italia, in the bars or in front of the countless shopping windows- and, of course, late at night in the many  discos and bars.

Cortina has always been firmly in Italian hands and has become a top winter address in the Dolomites - especially thanks to its wonderful ski runs and trails.
