Skiing Seiser Alm - Skiing area Seiser Alm

The Europe's largest high plateau

In the "Seiser Alm" you'll experience a real sense of delight: like a gigantic sun balcony, the impressive mountain scenery of the world of the Dolomites opens up just right in front of you.

And this particular view and scenery accompany you on all the ski runs, the cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths. Not only nature-lovers will enjoy this unique scenery.

In 1974 the high plateau of the Seiser Alm and the Schlern area  were turned into a Nature Park. The whole area is now protected and no longer accessible to cars.

At the feet of the Seiser Alm there are the villages Kastelruth, Seis and Völs am Schlern. All of them are very worth-visiting: they have been able to conserve their rural charm despite the increase in tourism.
