Haider Alm

Together with Schöneben and Nauders the ski runs of Haider Alm forms the ski paradise Reschen pass that ranks among the most popular skiing area in Vinschgau. No wonder, because it makes a skier’s heart flutter when the wonderful landscape is hidden under a deep blanket of snow.

A modern cable car brings you from St. Valentin at the north side of the famous Lake Reschen at about 2,200 m above sea level. Then you can gain height with several smaller lifts and rise towards the summit of Mt. Seebodenspitze, where snow and sun are guaranteed.

The majority of the ski runs of Haider Alm are moderately difficult. Some blue slopes are suited to first attempts. A black piste and the long descent into the valley make it sure that also experienced sportsmen aren’t bored. For snowboarders and freeriders however there isn’t a large offer, there is available only a fun park for beginners and advanced ones in the neighboring ski area Schöneben.

If you like manageable skiing areas with quiet, family-friendly ski slopes and without waiting times on the lifts, you will surely love the skiing holiday in Haider Alm. Several comfy ski lodges, a ski school and a shuttle bus and some opportunities for ice-skaters and tobogganists round the offer off.
