Bardonecchia is a village of Piedmont, located in the heart of Val di Susa in Turin, about 90 km far from the capital. Bordonecchia is a village that manages to combine the comforts and conveniences of a city with the charm of a small mountain village.
In the early 1900 Bardonecchia begins to have some consideration as a tourist destination, both in summer and winter, becoming today one of the most popular destinations in the Alps. Just in Bardonecchia, during the 2006 Winter Olympics, were held snowboarding competitions.
The ski resort Colomion in Bardonecchia also contains slopes of Melezet and Les Arnauds. With a free shuttle from the center of Bardonecchia, in just 5 minutes, you can reach even the area of Jafferau, which reaches 2,800 meters above sea level.
