On the south side of the Monte Rosa Massif the ski resorts of Valle d´Ayas, Valle di Gressoney and Valsésia together form the Monte Rosa-Ski association.

The Monte Rosa-Ski association is the biggest ski region in the Aosta Valley and offers fantastic skiing  opportunities on and off the slopes. The center is Gressoney-La-Trinité. From here you come into the Valle d´Ayas and Valsésia and to Alagna.

From Alagna a cable car carries you to the Punta Indren on 3260 m, where a wide but challenging free-ride ski run starts: the 2000 m of height difference requires precise technique.

Helicopters, however, bring ambitious skiers to the summit of Monte-Rosa.
The area around the ski station Pila appeals with fast forest slopes and open free-ride hillsides. The ski runs range from easy to a medium difficulty level; more challenging areas are at the Piatte de Gevron.

Between La Thuile and La Rosiere a diversified area with beautiful and fast ski runs opens up.
