Breuil-Cervinia owes its great reputation to its dreamlike location on the southern flank of the Mt. Matterhorn.
In the shade of the 4500 m high mountain the giant ski resort extends over to Zermatt in Switzerland. Mt. Plan Maison (2555 m) is the linchpin of the ski region Breuil-Cervinia-Valtournenche: here most cable cars and slopes start.
The longest ski run of the area starts on Plateau Rosa and is 15-20 km long. You will master a difference in altitude of 2000 m: good endurance is required! Snow parks are open to free-style skiers and snowboarders on the glacier of the Kleinmatterhorn in summer as well as in winter.
