Skiing Serre Chevalier - Skiing area Serre Chevalier
In the heart of the Alps
One of the largest ski areas of Europe lies in its second highest city, in Serre Chevalier.
Ski delight under the sun of southern France, that is carving through year old larches and pine forests, sliding down to the valley with the family, alpine ski experience with views over the glittering glaciers and roaring fast through the snow across the breathtaking moguls. Besides hiking with snowshoes, ice climbing, riding, dog-sled riding, skijoring, paragliding, a tour with the snowmobile, and much more, Serre Chevalier gets a unique winter Eldorado during the winter months.
The ski resort shows itself very proud especially to the younger guests as it shines with the award of child-friendliness.
Kindergartens and ski schools help the small ski bunnies to get in touch with the skis where they learn playing the ski ABC.
Modern and very comfortable lifts take you quickly and safely to the slopes.
Highlights thereby are the numerous boarder-cross courses, fun parks and quarter pipes.
When the night extends over the ski resort, Serre Chevalier doesn’t go to bed. In the bars, cafes, discos and igloos people celebrate the winter days until the early dawn.
