Mt. Diedamskopf is located about 60 kilometers to the south-east of Bregenz and with its height of 2,060 meters it is the highest peak in the region Bregenzerwald. If you would like to go skiing on Mt. Diedamskopf, you have available circa 40 kilometers of ski runs above the village Au-Schoppernau.

The large part of the slopes is blue and red, but there can be found also some black variants and ski routes. It is noteworthy that the skiing area Diedamskopf was the first one in western Austria, which was honored with the rating “secure skiing area”, because it is monitored by special guards.

For the first attempts on skis or on the snowboard there is a separate are next to the valley station. Beginners can also use the ski tow and the kids lift for a gentle start in these winter sport disciplines. Thanks to a pleasant children’s program parents can make time for themselves during their skiing holiday at Mt. Diedamskopf.
