Damüls-Mellau-Faschina is located at 1,430 to 2,100 meters above sea level and is considered as one of the snow-surest areas in the Alps. More than 100 kilometers of ski runs, pleasant ski lodges, funny slopes and toboggan runs for kids and a snow park are waiting for all winter sport fans.
Above all advanced and unhurried skiers like skiing in Damüls-Mellau-Faschina, because they find there about 50 kilometers of red ski runs and a wonderful mountain panorama above the region Bregenzerwald. Thanks to varied, moderately difficult and demanding slopes the branch of the ski area in Mellau delights also experienced athletes.
In Damüls and Faschina beginners and families have available many easy ski runs and next to the valley stations there are ski lifts for novices and snow parks for children. Moreover blue pistes are spread on the whole skiing area, so that everybody can get to know the environs without any problems.
The only disadvantage: Faschina isn’t connected with Damüls by ski lift, so you have to start directly in Faschina or take the ski bus to Damüls and Mellau.
