The quite famous skiing area Schladming-Planai is located in the federal state Styria. Mt. Planai is the nearby mountain of Schladming, where first and foremost experienced skiers are in their element. The offer of red slopes is very lush, including sufficient variants for everyone.
The wonderfully broad ski runs prevent all boredom and they invite even carving skiers to enjoy the snow. Demanding skiers enjoy skiing in Schladming Planai, because there is also a quite long FIS slope from the Planai summit down to the valley and to the Planai finish line, which is well-known to the annual world cup slalom.
All this doesn’t mean that a skiing holiday in Schladming is recommendable only for good skiers. Also less fit sportsmen feel at ease on the inviting, wide ski runs. Among the peculiarities of the ski area we have to mention the many colorful figures at the side of the pistes: In the middle of dwarfs, comic heroes and funny animals children enjoy skiing, too.
