The skiing area Nassfeld Hermagor is situated in the middle of a wonderful part of Carinthia, rather in a region where the three countries Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet. There, winter sport can be done on two “floors”.

One the one hand in the valley Gailtal at about 700 meters above sea level there is prepared an imposing net of cross-country ski runs. On the other hand you can find an extensive skiing area up to 2,000 meters above sea level on the sunny alp Nassfeld.

The Millenium Express is the longest cable car that connects Gailtal and Nassfeld and Tröpolach and the skiing area. A large part of the ski lifts and service stations is spaciously dimensioned and the slopes offer enough leeway for every taste. A recommendable long descent into the valley is a piste called Carnia to Tröpolach. Harmless training grounds for beginners and children can be found on the pass between the mountain pastures of Tressdorf and Schlanitz.

All in all, skiing in Nassfeld Hermagor in Austria is pure fun for pros, beginners and families with kids. Here, everybody can spend lovely winter days!
