The underground “Mölltal Express” moves passionate winter sportsmen in a few minutes on the ski runs on the glacier below Mt. Schareck, including a number of blue slopes. For rank beginners there are also a training lift and two short ski tows in the vicinity of the middle stations, where they can try their first moves on skis without being disturbed.
Nevertheless the offer for skiing on the Mölltal glacier interests also professional skiers and freeriders. Some demanding challenges are provided for instance on the slopes of Mt. Ankogel. Therefore a skiing holiday in Mölltal in Carinthia is a wonderful experience for all winter sport lovers.
